I have been giving my dogs and cats for years a natural daily supplement of brewers yeast with garlic and it works great. It's a great method for keeping fleas away and it makes their coats look great. I have never had an issue with giving this supplement that contains garlic. My mother has used this method for years also and she has never had a problem. If I didn't already use this supplement I defently would have tried this recipe out. I will however be making another recipe provided on here as I have made treats similar to it in the past. Great website.

if garlic was bad for your dog many sites would not recommend it for keeping off fleas. As long as you know what you are doing with it and how much to add to stuff its safe. So lets calm down a bit. Just stear away from RAW garlic.

Lets not over react. Its not as toxic as you are lead to believe and it is RAW garlic that is toxic.

Ummmm.... not to be rude but you can give garlic in small ammounts (like in homemade treats). Believe it or not it can actually be GOOD for them! A lot of dog food actually has garlic in it. So ya, if given in small amounts it is no big deal.
