Peanut Butter and Honey Dog Treats

Does your dog have a sweet tooth?  Mine does.  This recipe is perfect for your sweets-loving pooch.

Ingredients:

3/4 c. flour
1 egg
1 TBSP honey
1 tsp peanut butter
1/4 c. vegetable shortening
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c. rolled oats
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Put the honey and the peanut butter into a bowl and microwave for 20-25 seconds.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix.

Drop the dough by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet.  Note:  Here’s where you adjust the size of the biscuit for the size of your pet!

Bake for 8-10 min.

Makes 4 dozen
